Joana Saotome (早乙女 助阿奈?) is a minor character of the Aikatsu Stars! series and a former student at Four Star Academy. She is also Ako's elder sister, who also sees Subaru as a threat to greatness of her family. She is also a part-time homeroom teacher (for Tuesdays and Thursdays) in Étoile Academy.

Joana normally appears cool, calm, and collected with a natural flair for teaching. She is highly confident and displays a passionate, hot-blooded personality whenever someone else seems to do as good or better than her. When in a foul mood or a little bit pleased, she acts like a jaguar.
Relationships[]
- She is quite faithful to her younger sister until she met Subaru, which annoys her to her core. She often follows him around by spying, like a jaguar. She carries a long rod for that. If she ever finds out about Ako's relations with Subaru and Kanata (where as they both will love each other more), she will swear to hate her more than she does to Subaru, and even call her a "
meca (Meza?)" or traitor. She knows that the Yūkis and the Kiras should not be trusted among the Saotome family.
